Icecream Drowns the Tears of Changes

Dear fambam,

This week we found out the incredibly sad news: I have changes. And Hermana Granados had changes. And so Im leaving Asuncion and Im going to Pedro Juan Caballero with Hermana Brunelle on Saturday. We have a big conference with both of the missions in Paraguay tomorrow to hear from Elder Rasband so we are not leaving to go far away until after the conference. And then I will have a regular pday again, starting on monday. (bonus woohoo) Elder Rasband´s staying at the Sheraton thats in our area so we were just like, maybe we should just stroll over there to contact... hahah #perksofasuncion

Pedro Juan is right on the border of Brazil. Im half stoked to finally FINALLY get my portuguese all polished up but really sad too because I dont want a new compaaaniiioooon but its okay. I only have two more changes and I can handle two more changes.

But sin embargo this week was full of a lot of tender mercies that were just like, wait, whaaat is this real life??

Number 1. President Evans and his family invited us to dinner unexpectedly and it was marvelous. We had sticky sweet rice. Its delicious.

Number 2. Hermana Alexander is also going to pedro juan so we get to go up there together!!!!

Number 3. We got to see the primary program on Sunday. It was the most spiritual sacrament meeting Ive been to in a long time.

Number 4. I got to say goodbye to the Cranneys before they went to the airport. I didnt even know but we came by at the perfect time to see them off. It was really nice to hug them and they promised to come to my wedding hahahahahahah

Number 5. I found almond milk at the super seis and YAY because I feel so much better. I didnt even know I felt bad until now when I feel better!!!

Also we found these two AWESOME totally prepared investigators which is great. They are both really needing the gospel and its nice when we have people with needs because it gives them animo to go to church!!1

ALSO number 6. Our investigator Noelia went to a noche de hogar with one of the best families in the ward and she brought all her kids. I got prompted to invite her and even though she came 30 minutes late she came!!! And it was so great for them to all share together.

number 7. We had breakfast for dinner with the Craners and their less active kid ate dinner with us for the first time ever!!! Also real bacon!!!! YAY

Number 8. There was something else cool that happened with investigators this week but I forgot it.

So anyways its been really good, like, this has been the best change of my entire mission and probably one of the best experiences of my life. And Hermana C and Hermana G are like my Amy and Lisa or my Sam and Freddie or like my Ron and Hermione. Well really Im more like the Ron of the group hahhaha but still. But theres a great quote that Hermana C always has up that says ¨There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.¨

OH I remembered. Number 8. A less active lady came to our ward night and taught zumba. It was really great for all the girls but for the missionaries a little less fun. ;)

All in all life´s good. Thanks for writing me. I´ll be writing again on Monday because my pday is changing again, so you wont miss me too much. ;)

Love,

Hermana Scott
