Note: Another week with no group email.  Here is an excerpt from my mom email this week.

I have a sickness that never leaves hahah. It just keeps coming back. I would say im nauseous every third day. I think half of it is that the weather is like 80 degrees one day and 30 the next day, and my body cant adjust. I think the other half is that im stressed and my stomach is my stress ball hahah but what can you do?

So hermana Varas went home, like I said, and there was another sister with thyroid problems that went home the same day, and then they told me Id be the companion of Hna Bringhurst, the mission nurse. But then President changed things two days later and now Im the companion of Hna Jara, and shes an hermana leader. So in the house theres me, and Hna Jara, (hna lider) Hna Trujillo (nurse and hna lider) and Hna Bringhurst (nurse-- also going home in two weeks) and we all live in the same house in Campo Grande, the chuchiest of the chuchi in Asuncion. So basically there are two areas here, and depending on the day, im with a different companion, and depending on the day, im in one of the two areas. Its basically the weirdest situation that has ever happened on the mission, and everyone says so.

And on top of that the president is going home on friday. So apparently all the hermanas in my house have been invited to a big welcome/going away dinner on friday to meet President Evans and to say goodbye to the McMullins. and then we have a buttload of conferences an other stuff. So im like strutting around the mission office like an hermana leader but i really have no responsibility and i dont know what Im doing. :)

But luckily I really like all the sisters I live with. Its a little grating sometimes to live with four people who are all leader-type personalities. But if anyone can do it, I can. I just try to keep up with everything. Its like being back at school. We all speak english, four girls that just live together and we do stupid things like order delivery pìzza and jumping on each other when we dont get up on time.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thats been things. I dont know what the Lord is doing. I really dont. But you know, He tells us to work, and we just kind of shut up and work, you know? I have a bed and a hot shower and money so what more can you ask for?

Note: Kaitlin hasn't sent out general emails the past couple of weeks.  I don't know why that is, but my best guess is because she's been sick and has also been struggling in the new area.  Here are a few things from  her emails to me.

June 13: "This week has been another struggle bus. Not really sure what Im doing wrong, but this week I was out 4 days of work. Fever, chills, puking, the whole shabam. Went to the doctor in asuncion today and he says I have a very bad "sinus infection" not sure how much I believe it, but he put me on medication to fight the nausea so at least I can eat again, and ANOTHER set of antibiotics. Hermana McMullin, the presidents wife, said that never in her whole time on the mission has she had a missionary that has needed so many antibiotics. hahha Shrug."

June 20: "Thanks for all the prayers. I´m still exhausted physically but i am feeling a lot better. :) Thanks for all of that...Yesterday I reenacted all of frozen by myself for the entertainment of my companion. It took about an hour and a half, and i was translating into spanish what I could, but thats basically how I celebrated my birthday. :) #stillgotit

Thanks for writing. Miss you guys so much!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
Hna Now 20 Years Old"

June 20th in the Afternoon:"So looks like my companion is going home in two days and so they´re closing Utah´i. Im going to be companions with some other sister, dont know who, probably here in Asuncion with the Hna leaders. soooo there you go! The Lord works in weird ways!

I´m going home to pack all my suitcases and clean out my fridge

We're Not in Kansas Anymore, Toto

Hey yállllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Guess who was transferred? :( me. hahha Im in San Jorge now, right in the corazoncito de Asuncion. Not only do all the people here speak Spanish and go to college, but they also have a nickname for their part of town: Utah´i. Little Utah. Literally everyone here is an RM and they´re all born in the covenant and they are all sealed for forever family.

O SEA, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO HERE.

Allll the things I have learned here dont work. Im hopeless! Im sin esperanza! Im desesperada! And on top of that, my companion is dying this change and shes soooooo trunky hahah her planner is covered with little pictures of happy couples and temple marriage and she even pasted the ¨How can i have a happy and successful marriage¨ mormon message card to her planner hahahaha I hate my life. NO kidding the Lord knows who I am and where I am. But I am like a fish out of water.

Luckily the Lord has also been really awesome to give me a slew of answers to my prayers in these four days. DyC 88 was awesome, and Alma 37 saved my life. Im enjoying doing a lot of more service, teaching people who understand and analyze gospel topics, and drinking a lot of chocolate milk when we visit the members.

And we´re apparently having a baptism this week, a lady named Carmen with her 2 kids. She understands everything and she even participates in church. Shes gonna be awesome.

LOVE ALL OF YOU! Sending love and hugs! Work hard!
